When I started the car, the screen did not come on although the radio was working. None of the buttons responded. The nav display in the drivers console also went blank. When I got home, I stopped the car for a minute and restarted but still no screen. I then left the car off for about 10 minutes and when I tried again, the screen was back.
I've had the same problem intermittantly on both the B9 L2s I've owned. One minute the washers won't work, then later after stopping and starting, they suddenly decide to work again! It must be some glitch in the onboard computer, rather than fuses or pumps! Try disconnecting the battery for a while, and see if this resets anything. •
